Fellowship · In Formation

A Community of Shared Commitment

The Fellowship is being designed as the living community around the Institute: scholars, practitioners, artists, stewards, patrons and friends who share a serious commitment to the framework, the standard and the transmission of the work.

What Fellowship is not

Not a subscription. Not a status.

Fellowship is not a purchased status, nor a decorative title. It is a relationship of shared responsibility: to the honesty of the work, to the care of the vessels, to fellow members and to the continuity of what the Institute is being formed to serve.

Pathways under design

Roles being formed.

Correspondents

Readers, thinkers and practitioners who wish to follow the Institute's publications and be invited to occasional gatherings.

Fellows

Contributors — scholars, clinicians, teachers, artists, craftspeople, gardeners, architects — whose work extends or refines the Institute's inquiry.

Stewards

Those responsible for the material, ceremonial, ecological and hospitable life of the Gardens and the wider work.

Guardians & Patrons

Longstanding friends who help protect the mission, the standard and the freedom of the work through counsel, protection and support.

Admissions & governance

A considered pace.

Admissions criteria, obligations, contributions and governance structures are still being defined. When Fellowship formally opens, the terms will be published with the same care as the framework they will serve.
