The Living Laboratory of the Institute

The Elysian Gardens are being formed at Aldeia Nova do Cabo as the Institute's living laboratory — a place where framework becomes soil, stone, water, food, silence and shared time.

Relation to the Institute

Two doors, one work.

The Institute is the framework, publications and formation. The Gardens are the living setting in which the framework can be practised, tested, refined and shared. Nine earthen villas are in design, alongside regenerative land and water work — see Stay on the Gardens site.
